Assorted Pages of Interest

These are simply pages that I've found to be of interest on a multitude of unrelated topics. Hey, every page has got to have it's corner for miscellaneous junk to accumulate, right?

Cthulhu and Lovecraft (HP is probably my fav horror writer, thus all the cool stuff):

• HP Lovecraft Archive: Contains sections on the life, writings, and creations of one of the greatest horror authors of all time.
• The Weird Fiction Research Library: It offers a series of on-line search databases of use and interest to the weird fiction fan and researcher. Searchable section on Cthulhu Mythos.
• A Guide to the Cthulhu Mythos: The best on-line guide to the creations of Lovecraft. Contains all the names used in this mythos, as well as stories where they appeared.
• The Official Mythos CCG Homepage: The homepage to the strange CCG based on the works of this great author.
• Call of Cthulhu Online Role-Playing Game: Play the odd RPG based on Lovecraft's writings.

Raccoon Pages:

• Our Raccoons: Page containg pics taken by a family that fostered five young orphaned raccoons. Some very cute pics here.
• Raccoon Photos: A handful of pics with links to more for different species.
• The Raccoon Gallery: Large selection of pics to my second fav animal, after fox of course.
• Wildlife on the BC Coast: Big information page here.

On-line cards and stuff to send your love (I've been the recipent of enough of these, I can tell you):

• Shawna's Virtual Flowers: When you want to tell your cyber love exactly what they mean to you. Also good for many other occasions. Also send midi files with your message.
• Blue Mountain Arts: Name the occasion, and this site probably has a card to go with it.
• C-Ya's: Real and virtual cards here peoplez!

What's Your Name?

• Meaning of Names: Like many authors, one of the hardest things about writing I've found is thinking up the names. This site offers a good variety of them, and simple meaning.
• Kabalarian: When the above site won't do, come to this place with large meanings of 260 000 names. GREAT for the odd and obcure names.

Stuff that won't fit anywhere else:

• BOB: The title All-knowing, all-wise (ass) A.I. fits him very well. Actual program that you can send in questions to and he will respond. VERY often hilarious in nature!!
• The Death Clock: When will YOU die? Extradinory fun, if a little morbid.
• How to Play Poker: Rules for your basic game of poker. Since I don't really play, I use it for reference in my writings.
• Real Media: Where to download all those nifty little media programs.
• mIRC: One of the best programs for Internet Relay Chat. A must have for the dedicated chatter.
• Chaotic Dreams: My fav (and only played, really) mod for Quake 2. IMO, a must have for the online player.
• Will's Simpson Page: A site with lots of links about america's most dysfuntional family.
• Sav's Internet Software Page: Links to different interenet utilities that are of interest to the average web surfer.
• Ultimate Downloads: Downloading Arena: Patches, and demo downloads to lots of great games. Worth a check to see if you have the latest versions.
• The Lurker's Guide to Babylon 5: A breakdown and analysis of each B5 episode, WITH responses to questions by the creator of the series himself, J. Michael Straczynski.
• Laughing Skull Productions: A place to buy wicked Acrylic Fangs and rabbit fur covered gloves with metal claws. I can tell you from experience the latter are SO worth the rather high price!
• The War on Faith: An anti-xian page. Essentially it slams fundamentalist religions and their followers. Does a good job of it!
