Misha Brightleaf: Character Profile

A red fox morph, Misha is the top scout at Metamor Keep. Few people can top his tracking and stealth skills. He is considered an axe wielding maniac by many, due to the great axe that he is often seen wielding. He collects the ears of any one he kills and hangs them on a loop on his belt. Misha is head of the Long Scouts, a group of elite commandos at the Keep. Nasoj has a standing reward of 10,000 gold pieces for the fox's death or capture. Misha is an expert mechanic and clock maker. His is the one mainly responsible for the restoration of Madog, the automaton. His is in business with Will Hardy the jeweler, their company is appropriately enough called Fadger.

To strangers Misha can be shy and withdrawn, but to friends he is warm, and possesses a wicked sense of humour. One of those people is Caroline, and otter morph and daughter of Will Hardy with whom Misha is very in love with. Both are now Long Scouts, and neither lets their feelings get in the way of their jobs.

Recently, in the story Casualities of War, Caroline was captured and brutally raped. And Misha's friend Craig was killed. Misha and the other Long Scouts exacted a bitter revenge attacking a Lutin castle and killing the entire garrison. In the battle he went berserk and killed dozens of the enemy. He also killed the castles commander by ripping his throat out with his bare teeth. Now Misha keeps busy with Long scout business and tries to help Caroline recover.

Misha hates pomp and ceremony and prefers to judge people by their abilities not their looks. Cunning and fearless in battle, he is a dangerous enemy who has earned the outright awe and fear of most lutins.
